I was actively job searching in early 2026 — spending 3–4 hours a night on boards, tweaking the same resume for every role, filling the same form fields over and over. The Scout Plugin runs on your computer, on Claude Code or GitHub Copilot CLI. Your credentials and contact details are never sent to AgentCo’s servers, on either host. On Claude Code, resume tailoring also runs locally — your resume stays on your machine throughout. On GitHub Copilot CLI, tailoring instead runs through AgentCo’s servers (the same infrastructure Scout Web already uses) to keep quality consistent — only your resume text and the job description are sent for that step. Run summaries and application statuses sync to your dashboard either way, documented request-by-request in the plugin’s TRANSPARENCY.md. Scout Web runs on our servers by design: your resume is never sold, and is shared only with the infrastructure and AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy — never with recruiters, employers, or advertisers.

If you connect Gmail, it also picks up job-alert emails from those same boards as extra curated matches.
